The Works Chiropractic Massage

It's obvious massages feel fantastic, but they actually do a whole lot more than that.  The American Massage Therapy Association recently posted articles proving massage to be extremely beneficial against countless diseases, specifically listing the following:

Cancer-related fatigue

Low back pain
Osteoarthritis of the knee
Reducing post-operative pain
Boosting the body’s immune system functioning
Decreasing the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome
Lowering blood pressure
Reducing headache frequency
Easing alcohol withdrawal symptoms
Decreasing pain in cancer patients

Massage Therapy also goes hand-in-hand with chiropractic care.  An adjustment will increase blood flow, release toxins, and improve structure.  A massage will then pull the blood and toxins out for your body to rid itself of.  In addition, it will convince your muscles to relax and accept the new positioning from the adjustment.  Tight muscles are often a major part of the problem; pulling things out when they should stay put.  At The Works, we recommend both massage and chiropractic care.
